Akrosheen Satin Sheen Pure Acrylic Coating is a superior quality coating for interior and exterior use based on a pure acrylic polymer and is reinforced with proprietary pigments and additives. Akrosheen is characterised by having outstanding long- term durability, outstanding UV resistance, excellent adhesion and local flexibility, and is extremely washable and may be used for internal and external wallsurfaces, roofs and suitably primed timber and metals. Akrosheen complies with the requirements of SABS 1586 Grade 1. Akrosheen is APEO and heavy metal and lead free and has a low VOC (< 12g/lt).

New Work – Masonry and fibre cement substrates: Prepare substrate by removing all dirt, grime and loose adherent matter. Prime external substrates with Akroprime AR Masonry Primer. Prime internal substrates with Supercover Acrylic Primer, then apply 2 coats of Akrosheen Satin Sheen Pure Acrylic Coating. Refurbishment – Prepare by removing all loose and friable matter, and loose and flaking paint. Apply 1 coat Akroprime AR Masonry Primer, and 2 coats Akrosheen Satin Sheen Pure Acrylic Coating. Timber and Metal Substrates – Apply 1 coat appropriate primer, and 2 coats Akrosheen Satin Sheen Pure Acrylic coating.
Akrosheen is supplied Ready for Use. Dilution is not recommended except as directed. Apply by brush, roller, or airless spray, ensuring that no air voids are produced during application. Akrosheen should not be applied at temperatures below 5 °C, and above 45 °C, or above 80% relative humidity, or 2 °C above the dew point.
